Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Tools Optimizer ("we", "us", "our"), the website at aitoolsoptimizer.com run by Andrew, collects, uses and shares information when you visit the site. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us (directly or via the contact page, which opens your own email app), we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation. We do not have user accounts, comments or a newsletter, and we do not sell any products directly on this site.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web host and the third-party services described below automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) for analytics and advertising. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
3. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed, how long visits last and roughly which country visitors come from. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<ID>) and processes data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and interactions with the site. We use these reports in aggregate to improve the site.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site. Specifically:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Other third-party vendors and ad networks that Google works with may also use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to serve and measure ads on this site.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (My Ad Center). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or www.youronlinechoices.com (EU/UK). Opting out does not stop ads from appearing; it means the ads you see will be less tailored to you.
Learn more about how Google uses cookies in advertising. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time.
5. Affiliate links
Some links to tools on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one, the merchant or affiliate network may set its own cookies to record that you were referred by us, so we can earn a commission if you make a purchase. Those companies process data under their own privacy policies. See our Disclaimer.
6. Other third-party services
- Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes server logs on our behalf.
- External links: we link to many third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
7. How we use information
- To operate, secure and maintain the site.
- To understand site usage and improve content.
- To show advertising that keeps the site free.
- To respond to your messages.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising and analytics cookies used by our partners may count as "sharing" or "selling" personal information for targeted advertising under some US state laws; see section 9 for how to opt out.
8. Your rights under GDPR (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing are your consent (for non-essential cookies, analytics and personalized ads), our legitimate interests (for running and securing the site and replying to messages), and legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Your rights under CCPA/CPRA (California) and other US state laws
If you are a California resident (or live in another US state with a similar law), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and disclosed, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You can opt out of personalized ads using the Google and aboutads.info links in section 4, by using a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing us. Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (such as IP address and cookie IDs), internet activity (pages viewed and interactions), approximate location derived from IP address, and, if you email us, your email address and message.
10. How to exercise your rights
Email contact@aitoolsoptimizer.com. We may need to verify your request and will respond within the time required by law (generally 30 days under GDPR and 45 days under the CCPA). For data held by Google, you can also use the tools in your Google account and the links above.
11. Data retention and security
Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in our Analytics account. We use HTTPS across the site and take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. International transfers
Our service providers, including Google, may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
13. Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
15. Contact
