Replit review
Build and publish apps by describing them to Replit Agent, all in the browser.
⚡ Quick verdict
Replit is one of the most complete 'describe it and ship it' platforms: Agent writes the app, Replit hosts the database and publishes it, and you can still drop into real code. Starter is free for quick experiments with Lite build; Core unlocks Full build, connectors such as Stripe and Google, and Plan Mode; Pro serves teams of up to 15 with pooled, rolling credits. Usage-based credits can add up, and we couldn't confirm current plan prices because the pricing page blocked our check.
Key takeaways
- Starter (free): daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap, monthly cloud credits, Lite build and one free published app (taken down after 30 days, with a Made with Replit badge).
- Core: monthly credits for Agent, publishing, databases and AI Integrations; Full build, external connectors, Plan Mode and badge removal; invite up to 5 collaborators.
- Pro: tiered credits with 2-month rollover, up to 15 builders with pooled credits and no per-seat fees, 10 parallel Agent tasks and priority support.
- Usage beyond included credits is billed; credit packs offer discounts at larger sizes.
- We couldn't confirm Core and Pro prices—Replit's pricing page didn't load for our check.

What Replit is
Replit is a browser-based platform for building and publishing software. Its centerpiece is Replit Agent: describe the app you want and Agent plans it, writes the code, sets up storage and databases, and publishes it to a live URL. Because everything runs in Replit’s cloud, there’s nothing to install, and you can open the code at any time to edit it yourself.
Replit bills with credits: your subscription includes a monthly allowance that covers Agent, publishing, network transfer, database storage and AI Integrations, and you pay for usage beyond that.
Key features
Replit Agent
Lite build for quick edits and targeted changes (all plans) and Full build, where Agent works independently with more autonomy (Core and Pro).
Plan Mode
Brainstorm and plan with Agent without it editing your code or data (Core).
Design Canvas
Create designs and publish them; converting a design to a full artifact with backend functionality requires Core.
Connectors and AI Integrations
Connect Google, Stripe and other third-party APIs, and use Replit AI Integrations (Core).
Publishing
Publish apps with one click; Starter apps carry a “Made with Replit” badge.
Teams
Pro adds up to 15 builders, pooled credits, budget controls, collaborative Workspaces and 10 parallel Agent tasks.
